During two weeks in the summer of 2016 I had the honor of taking part in Siena Jazz 48th Workshop with an incredible faculty like Avishai Cohen to Aaron Parks, and students from as far as Australia and Argentina. Being there for the first time it’s hard to come with any expectations. However, I can say now afterwards that these two weeks have been an incredible opportunity to meet new musicians and be challenged in my musicianship à cause the explorative spirit coming from certain people of the faculty I was honored to work with. There is always new things to explore, and for one thing these amazing people have shown that jazz is alive and it keeps me very motivated as I look back on the two weeks in Siena. I will write a few posts about my experiences!
