I’ve had some amazing days down at Copenhagen Jazz Festival, both jamming and hearing some amazing music that I can feed on for a long long time. The first day, I arrived early in the morning at 7.30 and the Danish sun greeted me.
Later on, I met up with my friend and artist MAI to see a favourite for the first time TAKE 6. I’ve grown up listening to their music so it was just a pure rush of emotions running through the whole body as they sung and grooved the heavens down into Sølyst. Love love love!
We ended up at Jazzhus Monmartre to hear Bryan Carter, Emmet Cohen and Anders Fjeldsted.
Reuben Rogers and my Betty Carter Jazz Ahead 2016 faculty member Eric Harland also got on stage! 🙂 SO swinging…
