Tomorrow I am heading to the USA with two of my friends Oskar Lindström and Arvid Jullander, where we’ve been accepted to the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead 2016 Program. Honored, so honored to be a part of this… We will have two weeks of master-classes, workshops, concerts, playing of course and I know it will be so developing. We will perform three dates in Washington D.C. and on the Apollo Music Cafe on the 12th of March. Our faculty will be Jason Moran, Carmen Lundy, Eric Harland, J D Allen, Andre Hayward, Eric Revis and Cyrus Chestnut. To meet the other students will be more than amazing coming from all over the world. Can I say that I am more than [a little] excited? 😉
Pressrelease for this year’s residency if you want to check it out!
Our performances will be streamed live online ;
